Privacy notice

The public site and the connector require no account and set no tracking cookies. Server logs record the requesting address, the path and the time for security and capacity purposes and are kept for 30 days. Plain-language questions typed into “Ask the data” or sent to the connector’s ask tool are stored without any identity so the catalog can learn what people look for.

Files you upload in the explorer stay in your browser session and are not sent to the server. Saved sessions store only the map state (indicators, level, filters, selections) under a random id. The staff workspace, used by the agency’s staff only, records who changed what in an audit log.

Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers. Data served is public statistical and geographic data from the U.S. Census Bureau, HUD and Atlanta Regional Commission. When you use the connector from an AI assistant, your questions pass through that assistant’s provider under its own terms; the connector returns only public data.
